I was a big Baldurs Gate fan. So when the chance came to replay it a decade later I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did, but considering the game is described as an enhanced edition the programmers obviously didn’t give much thought to the improvements.
Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition not only remedies these issues, it also adds a good amount of new content, making it way easier to recommend to someone who previously missed out.
Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition is a well-executed restored piece, unlocking tens of hours of great fun to the new generation of gamers, while making it possible to remind the best game by BioWare to those, who remember it, in a comfortable way.

The Enhanced Edition runs in wide screen with a more attractive user interface, we can hide the UI sidebars to keep the screen less cluttered which is a nice touch. The new companions are well voiced, three of the new companions are from the first Enhanced Edition and the last new companion is a much needed thief in Shadows of Amn called Hexxat.
